Weight is also an indicator of health. As one of the many activities regarding “PDT is moving” 95 colleagues decided to do something about this indicator. In January the first step on the scales determined the starting weight.

This year's Management Meeting of the PDT took place at the Wartburg castle in Eisenach. Around 40 colleagues from Germany, England, Belgium, France and the Netherlands met with the focus on "management structure" and "corporate culture".

Sports and Summer Festival: "PDT is moving!" says the slogan under which PDT promotes fitness and health of its employees. Overall, 270 people participated and we could welcome 85 children.

The Sustainability Accord Thuringia assures a high level of resource conservation and energy efficiency to environmental protection achieved by the economy. PDT recently joined this accord.

Manufacturing of the largest frame PDT has ever produced. For the extension of the Rhine-Herne Canal PDT produced the largest part in the history of the company.

Since "PDT is moving" is the motto of the year, PDT organized a bike ride on June 26th,2010. Start and finish of the 42 km trip was Waltershausen. Along the cycle path "Städtekette" the 22 participating employees cycled in beautiful summer weather.

The world's largest exhibition for Railway Construction IAF (International Exhibition of Railway Technology) took place from 21st to 23rd of April 2009 in Münster with over 177 exhibitors from 15 countries.

As from 1 January 2009, the management, purchasing, sales and technology departments for the Waterproofing Division, and the sales and technology departments for the Profiles Division have moved to new premises in Harburg's inland port.
