On 1.7.2008, PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik demerged from the Continental Group through a management buy-out. The company with its workforce of 260 employees and annual turnover of €70 million operates in the profile and waterproofing sectors. The production facilities and offices are located in Hamburg and Waltershausen (Thuringia) with branches in England, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
The new managing partners Jürgen Werner and Gregor Ellegast have been involved with the company for many years, and will ensure the on-going development of PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik in their new independent role.
In the Profiles division, PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik offers top quality elastomer profiles for the following market segments: tunnel construction, railtrack superstructure, window and facade, civil engineering works and other applications. In the Waterproofing division, PHOENIX Dichtungstechnik offers more than 30 years of experience in waterproofing membranes for roofs and facades. The property of the company's unique RESITRIX series put it amongst the best on the market.
